Joey’s Only conducts contest promotion

Calgary-based seafood chain Joey’s Only has begun an online contest promotion as part of an overall spring campaign called “Win More Free Time.” Three winners will receive free residential housekeeping services for one year. One winner will be selected from each of three regions: British Columbia and Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and Ontario. The contest, which is located at <>, also encourages entrants to join the chain’s loyalty program, called Joey’s Mariner’s Club. “We fully expect that our contest is going to attract a lot of new members,” said Richelle Kotler, the company’s marketing manager. The effort is being promoted at participating restaurants with posters and other in-store materials, as well as local newspaper and radio advertising conducted by individual franchisees. National support includes ads on and in the May issue of Up, the in-flight magazine of WestJet. The initiative began on April 9 and will run until May 20. The chain consists of 106 restaurants in Canada and the US.
