Prospera breaks break-up campaign
By Adnews Staff
Credit union Prospera, based in Abbotsford, BC, began a new campaign on Valentine’s Day encouraging customers to break up with their banks. The creative makes use of a broken piggy bank along with the headline, “She broke up with me.” The copy reads, “Ok, so maybe you don’t keep your money in a piggybank. But you probably don’t want to keep it somewhere cold and impersonal either. So why waste your time in a relationship that’s going nowhere fast? Break up with your bank. It’s time to Prosper.” The campaign, developed by Identica Branding & Design, began yesterday with print advertising. Billboard and radio ads will follow, possibly accompanied by online materials.
