Frigidaire Canada readies Raise Some Dough contest

Frigidaire Canada of Mississauga will begin a new contest promotion on Feb. 15 called the “Raise Some Dough Sweepstakes.” During the contest, customers who buy an eligible product at a participating Frigidaire Appliance Store will receive a code number. This number can be entered into a keypad on an in-store display. If the vault in the display opens, the customer will win $10,000. The aim of the initiative is to increase traffic to the stores, generate sales and differentiate the chain from other appliance retailers. The contest is being supported with local radio and newspaper advertising. The promotion was developed by Scratch of Toronto. There are 60 Frigidaire Appliance Store locations in Canada.
