The Toronto-based Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada has formed an agreement with The Sponsorship Report making the monthly publication a media sponsor of the organization. “This relationship will allow both parties to work together to advance the best interests of sponsorship marketing in Canada,” said Brenda Woods, chair of the council. “We will now be in a position to collaborate on research, educational, marketing and other projects of mutual concern. The Sponsorship Report has amassed an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the sponsorship marketing industry. We are looking forward to tapping that expertise for the benefit of our members and our industry.” The council is a national association formed by the Association of Canadian Advertisers to support sponsorship marketing.
