Cuisinart readies Kitchen Party promotion

Cuisinart Canada, in association with UrbanMoms.ca, will begin a series of events next year called “Cuisinart Kitchen Parties.” These events will take place nationally in the homes of members of the UrbanMoms.ca website. At each event, participants will learn recipes from a Cuisinart chef while learning about the company’s products. Participants will also receive a cookbook. “These members and their friends lead very busy lives and see this evening as not only an opportunity to learn and sample but also as a chance to catch up with friends and have some fun,” said Cuisinart brand manager Michelle Kostya. “It is essential to create a party atmosphere where the guests feel that this is a great break and time well spent away from their families.” The initiative is an extension of a program that began in September called “Word of Mom,” which involves word-of-mouth promotion on the UrbanMoms.ca site. The promotion was developed by Scratch of Toronto.
