The Canadian MedicAlert Foundation has retained Toronto-based public relations agency Veritas Communications to launch a national version of its “No Child Without” program. The program, which seeks to provide MedicAlert bracelets and information services to children with medical conditions or allergies, is currently operating in 60 schools in five provinces. The organization plans to expand the program to all 10,000 elementary schools in Canada. “We want to give a bracelet to every child who needs one,” said Martin Kabat, president and CEO of MedicAlert. “Working with Veritas will allow us to build national awareness of ‘No Child Without’ so that parents, educators, and business leaders are all aware of the importance of this charitable program.”
