Toronto Eaton Cente conducts Dubai contest

Cadillac Fairview has begun a contest to promote the Toronto Eaton Centre shopping mall called “From Toronto Eaton Centre to Dubai.” The winner will receive a $25,000 shopping trip to the Eaton Centre and to Dubai of the United Arab Emirates. From Aug. 11 to Sept. 8, customers of participating Eaton Centre retailers will receive cards bearing identification numbers. Customers can the submit these numbers to the mall’s website at <http://www.torontoeatoncentre.com > to determine whether the card is a winner. Secondary prizes include gift cards and Aeroplan loyalty points. Customers can also use the site to enter the draw for the grand prize. “The chance to shop in Dubai, regarded as the world’s shopping capital, is a fashionista’s dream come true,” said Catherine Melchior, director of portfolio marketing for the Toronto Eaton Centre. “It was a natural fit to offer the opportunity for one shopper to experience a journey to two of the world’s best shopping locations.” The contest will be promoted with radio, television and online advertising, along with in-store signage.
