Scratch gains Waring Pro account

Conair Canada of Brampton, ON has hired Scratch Marketing of Toronto to develop a marketing communications program for its Waring Pro line of small kitchen appliances. The goal of the program is to raise awareness of the brand in Canada. Scratch received the assignment on the basis of similar work it did on behalf of the Cuisinart brand, also owned by Conair. The company will launch several new Waring Pro products in September, supported by a media relations campaign to be conducted by Scratch’s affiliate, Palette Public Relations. This will lead into a wider campaign for the brand in 2007.
