New chief information officer at CanWest MediaWorks Publications

CanWest MediaWorks Publications of Toronto has appointed Edward Brouwer to the position of vice-president and chief information officer. He will be responsible for the print information technology systems at the company. Brouwer was most recently vice-president and chief information officer of Metroland. He has also been president of Icontact, director of information technology at Lower Mainland Publishing and publisher of the Edmonton Examiner.
