Online home improvement directory HomeStars.ca of Toronto has launched a print version of its information. The 336-page book contains approximately 10,000 listing of home improvement companies in the Greater Toronto Area, divided into 90 categories. The publication also offers 2,200 consumer ratings collected though the website. Twenty thousand copies of the book will be distributed to homeowners by Mortgage Intelligence and Royal LePage. The publication will also be distributed at the Toronto Fall Home Show, which will run from Sept. 28 to Oct. 1. “We wanted the book to reach consumers who are moving into a new home or working on major home improvement and décor projects,” said HomeStars.ca founder Nancy Peterson. “Mortgage brokers and real estate agents are often asked by clients for their own list of recommended trades. The HomeStars.ca book offers hundreds of consumer ratings on local businesses.”
