Vintage Hotels readies Purple Feet campaign

Vintage Hotels of Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON is preparing a new campaign intended to attract residents of Toronto to Ontario’s wine region. The campaign, which will break on Aug. 11, will consist of billboard, cinema, print and radio advertising, along with radio promotions and street activities. The creative features images of people with purple feet from stomping grapes. The initiative will begin with the installation of a billboard ad at the intersection of Yonge and Sheppard in Toronto. At the same time, promotional workers with purple feet and wearing hotel robes will distribute information about the hotel chain’s “Get Going Canada” summer promotion. This is an offer of a special nightly rate for any of the three Vintage Hotels properties: the Prince of Wales, the Queens Landing and the Pillar and Post, all located in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The campaign was developed by Dentsu Canada.
