Clearly Canadian of Vancouver has signed a sponsorship agreement making it the official beverage of the second annual Steve Nash Foundation Charity Classic basketball game. Proceeds from the game, which will take place in Vancouver on July 22, will go to the foundation, which works to support the health, personal development and education of under-served children. “This event provides great exposure for our beverages,” said Sonia Manson, marketing manager for Clearly Canadian. “Clearly Canadian will be providing refreshment for the NBA stars during the game and our sampling team will be outside the arena during a FanFest festival the afternoon of the game.”

Bowdens Media Monitoring of Toronto has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Canadian Junior Golf Association that has resulted in the formation of a five-tournament tour called the Bowdens Junior Series. The national tour, which began this week, will consist of events in Beaverton, ON, Surrey, BC, Montreal, Stouffville, ON and New Glasgow, NS. As the official source for media monitoring, Bowdens will track media coverage of the association and its events nationally.
