Cruise BC hires Traction Creative Communications

Cruise BC has retained Traction Creative Communications of Vancouver as its communications agency. Cruise BC is an association of ports, destinations and government agencies related to the cruise ship industry. The association selected Traction after issuing a request for proposals. The agency will begin work by updating the association’s brochures and website. “The cruise sector’s economic impact on BC was estimated to be $1.3 billion in 2005,” said agency president Larry Donen. “With strong competition in the industry we are committed to building this brand to increase awareness of the Cruise BC organization, cruising opportunities in BC and BC ports and destinations.”
