Canadian Family debuts new design

St. Joseph Media of Toronto has redesigned Canadian Family magazine. The modified magazine will debut this month. The redesign includes a new logo, new features and departments, and a more contemporary look and feel. A new website will also be constructed at <>. "Our research confirmed that today's moms want more information pertaining to the whole family, not just the kids," said Carina D'Brass Cassidy, publisher of Canadian Family. "They're looking for a magazine that offers great style, practical parenting ideas, family-tested recipes and unique family-time ideas. Our smart strategies and clean design deliver what busy Canadian families need today." The changes will be supported by national newsstand promotion for each issue in 2006 at Chapters, Indigo, Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart, Wal-Mart and Zellers.
