Toronto-based Intact Insurance has begun a new national advertising campaign, its third since the launch of the brand in 2009. The campaign makes use of the theme "insurance is about people, not things," and focuses on the company's quick response times, 24-hour availability and national presence. The campaign consists of television and online advertising that depicts a number of situations in which families get back to their normal routines after some incident. The 30-second TV commercials will air on network and specialty channels through the year. The online component includes banners and 15-second video ads. "The campaign was created with customers in mind," said Monika Federau, senior vice-president of marketing at Intact. "We understand that customers want to get back to enjoying their everyday lives after the unexpected happens as quickly and as easily as possible, and we're committed to delivering on our promise."
