BENCHMARK RIGHT ON TIME FOR NEW ADVERTISING MEDIUM

Kitchener-based TimeLine Technology has selected Benchmark Communications of Toronto as the public relations agency to build the profile of the company and its new advertising division, TimeLine Media. TimeLine Media is a new Internet-based advertising network that uses audio-interactive screens installed on the tops of commercial fuel pumps. The company had been running a test pilot project of the new pump top advertising medium at Pioneer Petroleum gas stations in Kitchener-Waterloo and plans to rollout the concept in the Greater Toronto Area in September. "We are confident that BenchMark's creative and proactive approach with the media will translate into market awareness about our new TimeLine Media service," John Lowndes, president of TimeLine Technology said. Both advertising and media sales will be managed by TimeLine's advertising agency-of-record Thinc. Ideas Inc. of Toronto. PR and advertising budgets were not disclosed.
