UPDATE: THE BRICK PROMOTING ITS NEWEST LOCATION

The Brick Warehouse of Edmonton is promoting the opening of its new online store at <http://www.thebrick.com>. Announced earlier this week, the retailer of furniture, mattresses, appliances and electronics is touting the availability of the online store in its 15-second television commercials. Currently the television spots for the online store, promoting access 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, are running in the Alberta market, but David Upright, vice president of information services at The Brick, told Adnews that there are plans to roll out the commercials nationally. In addition to the television spots, in-store signage, print ads in the retailer's circular and in newspapers as well as signage on The Brick's delivery trucks are also being used to announced the opening of the online store. The Brick operates 58 stores across Canada. Advertising for the Brick is handled in-house.
