Pulse Marketing of Halifax has added public relations to its mix of services. The agency has merged with Bennet Communications of Halifax, an agency specializing in PR. Pulse is a creative agency. "The strategic fit between the two firms will mean great benefits for our existing clients and allow us to compete successfully for leading clients throughout Atlantic Canada," Pulse senior partner Bill Murphy says in a release. Pulse Marketing has a 20-year history in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Its client list has included McDonald's Restaurants of Canada, Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership, Milk Maritime, MT&T Mobility and Halifax Regional Municipality. Bennet was established in 1988. Its client list has included Nova Scotia Power, the Nova Scotia Nurses Union, Metro United Way Dream Home campaign and Eastbridge Consulting/Eastech Advanced Development. The newly formed firm will be called Pulse Marketing.
