COMPAQ TRIES TO GET RID OF OLD DESKPRO MODELS

Compaq Canada of Richmond Hill, Ont. is promoting its Deskpro 2000 and 4000 lines in its latest national newspaper campaign that began this week. The headline on the ad says: "It's never too late for another great idea. What about something like lower prices?" The layout is designed in black and red, while the visual depicts a photographed Deskpro 2000 and its features. The copy continues to promote the features and benefits of both the Deskpro 2000 and 4000. The goal of the campaign is to sell the existing inventory of older Deskpros. The ad was created by Ammirati & Puris/Lintas of Toronto.
