MEDIA GROUP WEST TO OFFER ADS WITH SOUL

MediaGroup West of Vancouver will let advertisers tell their story beginning in May. The company has created soulads, which are ads that are up to five minutes long and tell a story about the advertiser, such as their philosophy and why it brands a product a certain way. Soulads will be used on MediaGroup's LightVision Media, which is an outdoor medium using video and audio components. Ads on LightVision look like TV ads. The audio can be heard through a car radio.
