LOTUS LAUNCHES NEW VERSIONS OF SMARTSUITE

U.S.-based Lotus Development Corp. is introducing new versions of its SmartSuite line of software to the North American market this fall. The software will work with Microsoft Corp.'s Windows 95. Print advertising for the line, created by Hill Holiday of Boston, will begin in the fall. On Sept. 5 Lotus is hosting the Houston Area League PC User Group meeting, where it will begin a 10-city North American tour demonstrating the new software. There will be a worldwide interactive satellite broadcast of the meeting to customers, business partners and IBM sites, as well as a broadcast on America Online's Computer Rotunda which will include a question and answer session. A launch event will also take place on the Lotus home page. Lotus' web address is <http://www.Lotus.com>. The programs in the SmartSuite line are Lotus Organizer, Working Together, Lotus 1-2-3, Lotus Word Pro 96 Edition for Windows 95, Freelance Graphics and Lotus Notes.
