MUCHINTERACTIVE TO ADD COMMERCIALS TO NETCASTS

MuchInteractive of Toronto is now accepting audio and video ads on its netcast broadcasts. Netcast airs live and taped TV shows. Last year, MuchInteractive produced over two dozen shows including performances by No Doubt, Bryan Adams, Sammy Hagar, Moist, Age of Electric, Headstones and Wide Mouth Mason. Advertisers who have advertised on the shows include Microsoft Canada and Motorola. MuchInteractive tested the idea on its MuchMusic Video Awards program that aired in mid-September. MuchInteractive is the interactive arm of MuchMusic.
