EllisDon begins Fit Your Frame campaign

Mississauga-based construction services company EllisDon has begun a campaign called “Fit Your Frame” to promote its construction safety vests for women and gender-nonconforming persons. The vests are being manufactured by clothing company Md Bespoke. The national campaign will take place at all EllisDon offices and sites. The vests will be distributed to company employees.
“Traditional safety vests are not built to fit women or gender-nonconforming persons, and we wanted to change that,” said Jennifer Khan, vice-president of inclusive diversity at EllisDon. “Every day, EllisDon is working towards more inclusive measures on our sites and in our offices. I hope that this will continue to ripple throughout the industry so that everyone, and I mean everyone, feels welcome.”
