SDI Mktg has undertaken a rebranding initiative for its Toronto-based sports marketing division SDI Sports. The new branding is being introduced to coincide with marketing activities the agency is undertaking related to the 2022 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament. The redesigned branding is intended to better reflect the agency’s 30 years of experience with digital campaigns, experiential promotions, sponsorships and related services.
In related news, Kim Harland has been appointed global president of SDI Sports. She was previously an executive vice president at SDI Mktg.
“Leveraging the power of sport has always been tied to our identity,” said Roy Roedger, CEO of SDI Mktg. “Now we are bringing together our global sports marketing expertise under one brand. Our reenergized global brand, SDI Sports, comes with an exciting new focus as we create unique and impactful sports solutions for our partners.”
