Study: Quitting social media
By Adnews Staff

UK-based digital agency Reboot Online recently released the results of a study into which countries’ residents are most likely to quit social media. Using an analytical tool called Ahrefs, the agency tracked recurring Google searches by individuals such as “how to delete social media,” “how to delete Facebook,” “how to delete Instagram,” and others.
Canada ranked fourth in the study, with an average of 109,120 online searches per month from Canadians indicating a desire to leave social media. This represents 0.321% of active Canadian Internet users. The United States ranked first on the list, followed by India and the United Kingdom.
