Juul Labs begins awareness campaign

Toronto-based vaping products company Juul Labs has begun a campaign called “What Parents Need to Know," intended to provide information about vaping to parents. According to the company, the goal of the campaign is to prevent young people from vaping. The campaign consists of radio commercials, retail ads, online ads and point-of-sale materials. The creative includes a health warning about the addictive nature of nicotine, and directs consumers to a website at <http://www.juulfacts.ca> for additional information.

“We do not want minors to be using vaping products, and we are committed to providing information so parents, educators and others are aware of Juul,” said Mike Nederhoff, general manager for Canada at Juul Labs. “On our site, parents can find all the information they need about the company, the product, and efforts we are undertaking to keep Juul out of the hands of young people.”
