Skechers to sponsor Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship

Athletic footwear company Skechers Performance Canada has signed-on as a sponsor of the 2017 Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship golf tournament. The brand will be the official footwear sponsor of the PGA event, which will take place in September on Vancouver Island.
The company's products will be on display at the venue during the event. The agreement also includes a variety of consumer engagement initiatives.Skechers will have a presence in the spectator village and at the 18th hole, including an installation at which attendees will be able to try on various products. The company will also provide footwear to the amateur players competing in the Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship Official Pro-Ams event.
"We are excited to be partnering with the Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship," said David Beecroft, country manager for Skechers USA Canada. "Joining the tournament as the official footwear sponsor will complement our marketing strategy for the Skechers Go Golf line as a way to connect directly with the golf community as well as build brand awareness in Canada."
