Event operators merge into Intelivents

Two operators of Toronto-based consumer events have formed a joint venture called Intelivents Integrated Consumer Experiences. The company will act as the parent for the events formerly managed by Beerlicious, which include Toronto's Festival of Beed, The Ontario Brewing Awards and The Brewer's Plate, as well as the annual event known as the Gentlemen's Expo.

Luca del Rosso and Settimo Coscarella, co-founders of the Gentlemen's Expo, will join Intelivents as vice-president of corporate partnerships and vice-president of sales, respectively. Les Murray has been appointed president. Jon Sinden has been appointed vice-president of marketing and social media. Jennifer Murphy has been appointed manager of operations. Jodi Sellers has joined the company as culinary manager.

"We are very excited at the opportunities this partnership brings to us," said Greg Cosway, CEO of Intelivents. "The decision to invest in the Gentlemen's Expo was an easy one for us and we are confident that this event will allow us to leverage our 23 years of festival and event experience in a way that the Beer Festival never has.  We've been following this event since its inception and joining forces was an easy decision for us to make. We're definitely looking forward to putting our large-scale event experience, combined with our experience in activations, sponsorship and live content to work at the Expo and we are betting on this expanded service offering being of great value to both our clients and our consumers alike."
