New marketing vice-president at Opsens

Opsens, a medical technology company based in Quebec City, has appointed Tony Gibbons to the position of vice-president of sales and marketing. He will head the international commercialization efforts related to the company's optical fibre flow-sensing products for patients with coronary heart disease. Gibbons has spent the last 20 years at Boston Scientific, in positions including intercontinental president and vice-president of international sales. He was also international vice-president at Thoratec.
