Chime Digital launches in Toronto

A new online video marketing company called Chime Digital has launched in Toronto. It will focus on the creation of digital video content and its programmatic placement, along with social media support. Chime Digital will offer its services in conjunction with Toronto-based production company Door Knocker Media. The company was founded by Anat Barzilay, who has spent the last seven years in business development at Rogers Communications. Prior to that, she held a series of sales positions at CityTV and CHUM Television.

"According to the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, Canadians spend more time online than any other nationality," said Barzilay. "There is opportunity to reach these Canadians with brand messaging in a way that can be shared and remembered. The days of posting a branded video on YouTube and hoping your target consumer sees it is gone. Not only is it essential to create content that speaks to your target but it is just as important to distribute it through the right channels and at the right time. We provide an advertiser the opportunity to reach precise audiences at scale through a combination of paid and earned media with content that will resonate with the end viewer."
