Lesley Stowe sponsors women's ski jumping team

Lesley Stowe Fine Foods of Richmond, BC has signed-on as the lead sponsor of the Canadian Women's Ski Jumping Team. The three-person team, consisting of Atsuko Tanaka, Taylor Henrich and Alexandra Pretonius, will compete in the 2014 Olympic Winter Games next month. This will be the first time women's ski jumping has been an official Olympic event.
As part of its sponsorship, the company is encouraging consumers to send the athletes messages of support via its social media channels. For each Facebook or Twitter message sent, Lesley Stowe will contribute an additional dollar in support, to a maximum of $5,000.
"From the first time I watched ski jumping, I was mesmerized by the bravery and skill that goes into the sport," said company founder Lesley Stowe. "The Canadian women's team is comprised of such a talented, dedicated group of young women. We are thrilled to help support their Olympic dreams."
