Apex PR adds one, promotes five

Apex PR of Toronto has promoted Lauren Baswick and Jennifer Stein to the position of account director. Baswick specializes in beauty and lifestyle accounts, while Stein specializes in business-to-business and retail accounts. Sonia Prashar has been promoted to the newly-created position of publicity and marketing manager. She will focus on "high-level strategic media relations" and marketing for the agency. Catherine Mitchell has been promoted to account manager. Kylee Berencsi has been promoted to consultant. Alicia Cox Thomson has joined the agency as a digital consultant. She has previously worked at Chatelaine.com, HGTV, Food Network Canada and Slice.
