Shift Media Group opens in Regina

A new firm called Shift Media Group has opened in Regina. The company is a joint venture of film production company Original Pictures, television production company Partners in Motion and Veria Search Media Marketing, which specializes in search engine and social media marketing. Nicholas Hirst, CEO of Original Pictures, and Ron Goetz, executive vice-president of Partners in Motion, are the new company's co-CEOs. Shift Media will operate offices in Langley, BC, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Toronto. "In many ways, Shift Media Group will be a microcosm example in what needs to happen in the convergent space," said Annelise Larson, partner at Veria Search Media Marketing. "Digital meets traditional in mutual respect to create opportunity, tell great stories and find a sustainable business model."
