New president at Digital Alberta

Calgary-based Digital Alberta has appointed Michelle Sklar to the position of president. Sklar is the European director of marketing and public relations for Calgary-based Poynt. In addition, Owen Brierley, executive director of Guru Digital Arts College, Lisa Hagen and Steve Buors, senior vice-president of digital media strategy and product development at Post Media, have joined the organization's board. Digital Alberta works to promote the digital media industry in that province.
