Pareto buys Direct Sales Force

Toronto-based Pareto Corporation has acquired Direct Sales Force and affiliated company Direct Branding Force. Pareto specializes in marketing to shoppers, while Direct Sales Force is primarily a sales company and Direct Branding Force focuses on experiential marketing. "Direct Sales Force is recognized as the nationwide leader in results driven location based sales and marketing services," said Kerry Shapansky, president and CEO of Pareto. "We are very excited about this acquisition, which will further strengthen our leadership position in the shopper marketing space. An in-store direct selling capability is something our clients have been asking us for and the culture and philosophy DSF has built fits very well with Pareto." No financial details are available.
