Canaglobe introduces online coupon service

Toronto-based Canaglobe Advertising has introduced a new online coupon service called Couponcity.ca. The service, which is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses, will host Web-based coupons and promotions for local customers of its clients. Visitors to the website can click on a map to find special offers available from the merchants in that area. “We used our extensive experience of working with local businesses when developing Couponcity,” said Canaglobe founder Bahman Yazdanafar. “Customers drive long distances to shop at big stores yet do not realize their local community has the same product or service possibly available at a discount. We have to bridge this information gap.” The service currently covers 189 postal areas in the Greater Toronto Area.
