ACLC wins Mercedes-Benz Canada account

Mercedes-Benz Canada of Toronto has appointed ACLC, also based in Toronto, its advertising agency of record. The firm will handle all Mercedes-Benz brand tactical advertising and communications beginning on Jan. 1, 2006. Five other unidentified agencies also participated in the review process, which included a strategic and creative assignment. "With the growing complexity of the automotive industry, we were looking for solid strategic thinking, compelling creative, efficient processes and a wide range of capabilities, and we found all of that at ACLC," said Mercedes-Benz marketing director Klaus Rehkugler. The account was previously held by Lowe Roche of Toronto.
