Award show roundup

The Globe and Mail received a first place award for brand and image development at the Newspaper Marketing Awards last week. The awards are presented by the International Newspaper Marketing Association. The Globe won for its "It's not just news. It's a conversation" campaign, developed by Naked Creative of Toronto. Only one other Canadian newspaper received an award. The Guelph Mercury won first place in the public relations programs and events category.
