Allergic Living magazine launched

A new national magazine called Allergic Living debuted yesterday. Published by Toronto-based AGW Publishing, the magazine is aimed at Canadians living with allergies. It will be sold by subscription and through Chapters stores. The debut issue contains articles on peanut vaccines, dating and allergic teenagers, spring allergies, sulphite reactions, and attempts to pass a law protecting anaphylactic students in Ontario. The magazine will also carry regular beauty and food sections. The editor of the magazine is Gwen Smith, former editor of Elm Street. "The goal of Allergic Living is to help people control allergies, to make lives as full as possible despite these conditions," said Smith. A website for the magazine has been constructed at <http://www.allergicliving.com>.
