Legends magazine to launch this month

A new Toronto-based travel magazine called Legends will release its first issue on April 27. The publication will be aimed at young professionals in that city between the ages of 21 and 34, which the magazine describes as "a youthful, hip, adventurous and worldly demographic with an itch to travel." The publication will contain large photo spreads and "irreverent" articles about international travel destinations. "Legends hopes to add value to the travel experience by informing and inspiring the reader to push further and travel beyond their respective comfort zones, specifically through artistic, musical and athletic endeavours," said Susanna Kislenko, founder and editor-in-chief of the magazine. The premiere issue will carry stories about the European tour of Toronto band Crash Kelly, surfing at Bondi Beach and the Harajuku district of Tokyo. Legends will be distributed for free at various Toronto venues, primarily in the downtown core.
