NEW MARKETING VICE-PRESIDENTS AT SONY BMG

Sony BMG Music Canada of Toronto has appointed Shane Carter vice-president of marketing. He will head the staff that handles artist marketing, promotion and publicity. Before joining BMG in 1999, Carter was vice-president of sales and marketing at PolyGram Home Video. Dave Toomey has been promoted to the new position of vice-president of domestic marketing and international exploitation. He joined Sony Canada in 2002.
