FORD BEGINS TAURUS DIRECT MAIL CAMPAIGN

Ford Motor Company of Canada has begun a national direct mail campaign for the 2004 Taurus LX. The campaign promotes the price of the car. Approximately 330,000 direct mail pieces, created by Wunderman of Toronto, began going out last week to past model year Ford mid-size vehicle owners, households that requested information on the car, and households in certain geographic areas. Ford dealers will also distribute the piece to potential customers. The Taurus LX will be also be promoted with advertising created by Young & Rubicam for the Ford Dealer Advertising Association and Ford dealers nationally.
