NABS MEDIA AUCTION BEGINS

The National Advertising Benevolent Society kicks off its annual Media Auction fundraising campaign today. Running until March 31, the auction includes approximately $2.7 million of national, regional and local media inventory. Categories include network, selective spot and specialty television, plus radio, magazine, newspaper, outdoor, out-of-home and Internet advertising. Bidding on each media package will begin at 50% of the regular rate-card value. A trade media advertising campaign using the tagline "Great Media for A Great Cause" will promote the auction. The campaign was created pro-bono by FCB Toronto. The organization has a Web site at <http://www.nabsadauction.org>.
