FCB GAINS TWO CLIENTS

FCB Toronto has recently added two new clients to its roster: Mercury Marine Canada and Columbia House Canada. Mercury, based in Mississauga, ON, is a manufacturer of marine propulsion systems. The company hired FCB following a review with an unconfirmed number of agencies. FCB will handle advertising, media, dealer and interactive work for the client, said Peter Shier, president, FCB Toronto. Toronto-based Columbia House is a direct marketer of music, videos and DVDs. Caroline Quinn, Columbia Houses' director of new member marketing, said FCB was hired after the company shortlisted a number of different options. The agency's work will include strategic marketing, media and some creative, she said. Adding direct response campaigns will continue to be created in-house.
