CMT HIRES FLAVOUR ADVERTISING

CMT has hired Toronto-based Flavour Advertising, formerly Wolf Group Canada, to create a new look for the network. Flavour's assignment is to create a visual template for the network that will include on-air elements and sponsor billboards. The agency will also develop a new tagline, but will not alter CMT's current logo. The brand identity assignment is part of a larger effort by CMT to broaden its appeal to existing viewers while increasing its appeal to younger audiences. The debut of the new look will coincide with the start of the new season this fall.
