HOLMES PICKS UP TWO ACCOUNTS

The Theatre in Ontario Alliance and the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership have hired Holmes Creative Communications of Toronto to handle the public relations for a cultural tourism program called "Just The Ticket." The program begins on May 13, aimed at domestic tourists in Ontario. The program will promote various "theatre getaway" packages. Holmes won the account following a request for proposals and a competition. Holmes has also been hired by the City of Toronto to handle media relations for the third annual "Doors Open Toronto" event, which will take place May 25 and 26. During the event 100 buildings of architectural and historical significance in the city will admit visitors free of charge. Buildings participating in the event include The Stables at Casa Loma, the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex, Osgoode Hall, the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre and the Canadian Opera Company's Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Opera Centre.
