BENCHMARK PORTER NOVELLI TO HANDLE PR FOR TORONTO WIRED WOMAN SOCIETY

BenchMark Porter Novelli's Toronto office will provide public relations counsel and media relations services to the Toronto chapter of the Wired Women Society. The volunteer organization provides women in the high technology and new media sectors with networking and career development opportunities. Previously its public and media relations were handled in-house. A number of BenchMark employees are members of the society and it was that involvement that brought the agency to the organization. Christina Rodmell, president and co-founder of the Toronto chapter, said "Wired Woman Toronto's goal is to further heighten the awareness of the organization's activities through partnerships with leading organizations in the industry."
