By Adnews Staff
Canon Canada of Mississauga has begun a new campaign for its imageRUNNER imaging device. The print campaign was created by DCC Communications of Toronto. It will run in English and French business and trade publications as well as in major dailies until January. The creative seeks to convey that the imageRUNNER can copy, print, fax and manage a variety of tasks at once. Various situations are presented in the ads in which employees experience productive workdays. One ad depicts a father reading to his daughter in a park. The copy reads "And to think, if it hadn't been for an imageRUNNER he could still be at the office." In another execution similar copy accompanies the image of a couple walking their dog. The campaign will also include a 12-second ad on the Elevator News Network and online advertising. A micro Web site at <http://www.imagerunner.canon.ca> has also been created.
