THRIFTY CANADA EXPANDS RELATIONSHIP WITH PARENT COMPANY'S AGENCY

Thrifty Canada, based in Mississauga, ON, has appointed Bernstein-Rein Advertising of Kansas City to handle its online media strategy. The U.S.-based agency has worked with Thrifty's parent company, Thrifty Rent A Car Systems Inc. of Tulsa, OK, for the past few years. Thrifty Canada also began working with Mixed Nuts of Toronto in April on adapting U.S. creative for the Canadian market. Previously the rental car company worked with Axmith McIntyre Wicht of Toronto for both its creative and media.
